An e‑commerce architecture built to scale, set up before launch
Can-Am (BRP) · Shopify e‑commerce · Switzerland

Can-Am is a division of BRP, an international group. Before its Shopify store launched in Switzerland, I audited and restructured its e‑commerce architecture so it could grow with the brand across several languages and markets.
The starting point
The Swiss store was getting ready to launch. Out of the box, Shopify couldn't support a multilingual architecture built to scale: without restructuring before launch, a full rebuild would have been needed within the year.
What I put in place
A targeted technical engagement, carried out before launch, to lay the right foundations for a brand present in several markets.
The audit
Catch everything that would have held the site back, before going live.
- A full technical audit of the Shopify architecture.
- The platform's multilingual limits addressed up front.
The architecture
Build a foundation that can grow with the brand in every market.
- A URL architecture restructured for several languages.
- Semantic markup readable by Google and AI.
- Full technical compliance.
The results
- A multilingual architecture up and running from launch.
- Complete semantic markup.
- A foundation ready to evolve, with no rebuild on the horizon.
